The GRAIS pool is closed until further notice. There is no open swim.

The purpose of the Freetown-Lakeville Regional School District Campus Programs is to provide our contemporary students with a wide range of intramural sports and activities guided by experienced staff in order to enrich their daily skill sets.

At Campus Programs, we aim to foster a safe and inclusive environment where students are free to learn at their own pace and discover their passions alongside their peers.

Campus Programs also coordinates and processes all outside community organizations seeking to use our facilities and campus through our Facility Use Program.

  • Have you ever wondered why the ocean is blue or why bears have a stumpy tale? These things, and many other elements of animals and nature, are explained by Pourquoi stories. Pourquoi [por-kwa] means "why" in French and they are old legends told to explain why certain events happened long, long ago.  Using their imagination, students will be guided in crafting their very own, original Pourquoi story. They will also add illustrations, either by drawing them freehand or using computer clipart, to enhance their work. Fun and new interactive storytelling games will bring their unique stories to life! We might find out why a ladybug has spots or learns why we hear the ocean when we hold a conch shell up to our ear.  The possibilities are endless!  Students will receive a book filled with all of their amazing tales to enjoy long after our time together has ended.
