FLRSD offers an intramural swim program to give young athletes an opportunity to learn in a more competitive and technique based swim program while having fun. All new swimmers will be evaluated by the Coach and placed according to their ability (freestyle, backstroke, butterfly, and breaststroke).

Open Swim Schedule
The GRAIS pool is closed until further notice. There is no open swim.
Pool Rules
- No Running on the pool deck.
- No glass containers.
- No gum.
- No horseplay.
- Return any used equipment to the appropriate place.
- Do not hold barbels or kick boards under water.
- Do not hang on the lane lines.
- Lanes are for LAP SWIMMERS only.
- No jumping/diving in the shallow end.
- No flotation devices (including personal flotation devices) are allowed in the deep end of the pool.
- All patrons must shower before entering the pool deck.
- Children under 13 years of age MUST be accompanied by an adult.

The GRAIS pool can be rented on Sundays from 12:30-2:30 PM.

A lifeguard review course is being offered by the New Bedford Parks, Recreation & Beaches.
