The Apponequet GSA is officially re-launching!
The GSA is a student-led group dedicated to celebrating LGBTQ+ identities and promotes
inclusivity for everyone. Whether you're a member of the LGBTQ+ community, an ally, or
just someone who wants to be part of something positive, we welcome you with open
arms! Feeling Curious? Learn about LGBTQ+ identities and issues.
Discuss ways to make our school a more inclusive space. Have fun, play games, and
enjoy a supportive community. No prior knowledge or experience is necessary! We're all
here to learn, grow, and support each other.
Spread the word! Tell your friends, classmates, and anyone who wants to be a part of
something special. The more the merrier!

Attention Freshmen: There will be a class meeting Tuesday, January 16, immediately after
school in Room 109. We will be discussing fundraising options and other events for this

The law enforcement internship at ARHS is open for the spring semester. Any junior or
senior interested in participating in this program may pick up an application in the main
office. The class meets on scheduled Wednesday’s from 1:13-2:13 pm. You will earn 2.5
credits for this class and it requires one project TBD. Applications are due back in the
main office by Tuesday, January 16, 2024.

If you are a senior, pay attention to this very special limited time offer. The Social Studies
department has a few spots left on the trip to Washington DC, so starting today, if you are
a senior and would like to join the trip, fill out the form in your Laker Locker and bring the

The Social Studies Department would like to invite the Sophomores and Juniors to
participate in a field trip to Washington DC from March 2nd-March 5th. Packets with
details on the trip and permission slips for the trip are available in the main office, so grab
one today when you can. They are also available on the Laker Locker to print out and fill
out at home. Return filled out packets AND full payment for the trip to Mr. Solomon in
Room 142 starting today. Spots are limited, so make sure you return it ASAP starting
today so you can get a spot.
