Reminder for the class of 2027- PSATS are October 15th, payment is due tomorrow.

Attention Freshman! Now's the time to order your class t-shirt to wear during our Pep
Rally in November! T-shirts are $20 each. Complete the Google Form in the Laker
Locker and bring cash or check - payable to FLRSD with your name in the memo - to
Mrs. Pacheco in room 201 or Mr. Koczela in room 102.

Math team will be meeting after school today in room 201. All new members are
welcome. Please have a ride scheduled for 2:45.

Holler for HOSA! Are you interested in the health sciences? Do you want to become a
leader in the health science field? Join the medical version of DECA! Come to room 130
on October 6th right after school for a quick informational meeting about HOSA!

Seniors: Baby, Youth, and Senior photos, and your Senior blurb are DUE OCTOBER
10TH.

Hey Lakers! Now that Fall is here, join the Fall Mini Reading Challenge! While the air is
turning colder, now is the perfect time to grab that warm cider, a comfy blanket and a
good book. Stop in the library and grab your Fall Reading Challenge Tracker and peruse
the selections relating to Fall Vibes, Back to School Themes, Friends/Family, and Fall
Hobbies! Submit your tracking sheet by December 5th to Mrs. O’Brien in the library and
grab your prize! Tracking sheets and lists of suggested titles can be found on the library
website.

Green Team meeting Thursday. Tell your friends, and your friend's friends. Right after
school in room 132 Mr. Marshall's room.

The next All Booked @ Apponequet Book Club meeting is Wednesday at 1:50 in the
library. October’s book selection will be available and discussions will begin for our
November selection. New members are always welcome. Students, please have a ride
arranged for 2:45.

Attention Juniors! There will be a brief class meeting tomorrow in Ms. Lima's room
immediately after school. All officers are expected to attend and all others are welcome.
Please see Mr. Pollino or Ms. Lima with any questions.

Don’t forget! The Drama Club is selling Fall Mum plants. Order yours today! For order
forms, see any member of the drama club or Mrs. O’Brien in the library. The deadline to
order is Friday, September 26th.

In an effort to continue supporting students safety we are providing you with information
about the Text-to-911 service. You will receive a card or a handout in your last period
class with information on how to contact emergency services through text message if
unable to call them.

Homecoming is November 14th at the Venus De Milo in Swansea, from 6:00-10:30 PM.
Tickets are 60 dollars each, and sales are on the following days after school. September
25th for Seniors, September 26th for Seniors and Juniors, September 29th for Seniors,
Juniors, and Sophomores. And September 30th for all grades. More dates will be
announced depending on the availability of tickets.

The math team meeting has been cancelled for Monday.

Any student interested in volunteering and receiving community service hours can sign
up to work Flag football at GRAIS. A sign up list will be in the main office, any questions
see Coach Cabucio.

DECA DECA DECA! Join us for our official kickoff meeting Tuesday Sept 23 after school
from 1:50-2:20 in the cafeteria! We’ll discuss registration and all we have to offer this
year. Let’s get in the spirit by wearing any DECA apparel you have!

Attention Freshman: The link to vote for student council is in your laker locker. Results
will be shared Monday morning over the announcements.

Attention all Green Team, unfortunately we are not having a meeting today. We will meet

It’s College Fair Day!! Get ready to talk with some admissions reps and members of the
military. Play a game of College Fair Bingo for a chance to win a prize! Please wait for
your class to be called down at the following times.
Juniors will be called to the Auditorium first at 9:38 and then move to the College Fair
around 10:05. Sophomores will be called down around 9:40. Seniors will be called down
around 10:38! We look forward to seeing you all there!
