Angling for something to do this weekend? Join us under da see for this year's musical
the little mermaid! Shows are Friday at 7:00 pm and Saturday at 2:00 pm and again at

And the final authors scheduled to appear tomorrow are Tom Cirignano - writer of his true
life stories as a South Boston mechanic in the heart of “Southie” during the reign of James
“Whitey” Bulger; Willie Pleasants writer of up-lifting and thought-provoking short stories
and poems about true to life experiences; Pat Mitchell who, having dreamt of being an
author since 5th grade when her sarcastic essays made her homeroom teacher laugh and
ask for more; Phyllis Calvey - author who shares her love of butterflies; and Michael Jovin
- having been big into movies, TV shows, video games, anime, and reading manga,
Michael’s love of storytelling bloomed and has resulted in a few crazy sci-fi adventures.

More authors are coming to the Author Expo! Another returning face is Filomena Tripp -
born with undeveloped arms and one underdeveloped leg, Filomena has written a
compelling novel that shows us the way through and beyond adversity; Edward Taylor -
writing since middle school, Eddie works in government and recently published his debut
novel, “Drop”; Belle DeCosta - writer of fiction as well as a memoir that is a sure read for
all women; local artist Candace Sherman who has encompassed her love of stones and
art into both fiction and nonfiction works of healing stone energy; and a familiar face to the
ARHS halls, Theresa Mackiewicz - writer and creative force behind the one of a kind book
series, Scribbles!

Make sure to bring cash for the pep rally tomorrow for the Miracle Minute for Jordyn
Gallagher, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gallagher from the middle school. All proceeds will be
going towards the charity dedicated to understanding and treating the rare disability she
has.
