Mrs. O’Brien is looking for students who are interested in working in the library for
academic credit. Application materials for the Library Media Specialist Student
Internship Program for Semester 1 are available in the library. Deadline for applying is
2:00 pm on Tuesday, September 19th.

The Apponequet Volleyball team is looking for two people to score for their home games
this season. If interested, please see Coach Cowley in room 122 to discuss the job and
pay.
The times for today's Boys Soccer matches have changed. JV will play at 5:30pm and
varsity at 6pm. The bus leaves the school at 4:30. Come support the boys as they begin
their 2023 season at Somerset Berkley tonight.
If you are a freshman interested in running for Class Government, email Mr. Solomon or
stop by room 142 for the nomination form. Forms are due September 14th.
Applications are open for Historian and Data Analyst for the Student Council E-Board. If
you are interested, email Mr. Solomon or come by room 142 for a form. Forms are due
at the end of school this Monday, September 11th.
Laker Leaders will meet in the Lecture Hall on Wednesday, tomorrow, at 1:20, directly
after school is dismissed.
The first meeting of the Drama club will be next Monday, September 11th at 2:30 pm in
the auditorium. We will answer all questions about the shows, auditions, stage crew,
and anything else anyone would like to know. All interested are encouraged to attend!
Auditions for the fall play, She Kills Monsters, will take place on Thursday, September
14th at 2:30 pm in the auditorium. You do not need to prepare anything for the audition.
All are welcome to attend, no previous experience required!
