We did it! For the first time in school history, the FLMS soccer team has gone undefeated and are this year's league champions! After beating Dighton Middle School last Thursday by a score of 7 to 0, it was officially official, undefeated league champs! A big congratulations goes out to all the players on the team, you guys are awesome!
Here are some quick reminders to the dance attendees tonight. No costumes are allowed. You can dress casual or dressy, it's your choice. You will need to present your ticket at the door. Kind, respectful, and appropriate behavior is expected or your parents will be contacted to pick you up. Think of a few songs you would like to request of the DJ. Have fun! Nos vemos en la fiesta!
Spirit week is almost over. Tomorrow is team color day. Team 6100 is orange, team 6200 is purple, team 7100 is red, team 7200 is blue, team 8100 is black, and team 8200 is white.
The FLMS soccer team had their toughest challenge of the year yesterday as they took a second place Swansea Middle School. FLMS beat Swansea by a score of 2 to 0 and remains undefeated and in first place! The team's last game of the season is at Dighton today after school. We're so close to the perfect season!

The girls' cross country team stayed undefeated yesterday with a win over Raynham. The boys' team beat Raynham as well! Great job to all the runners.
The FLMS soccer team took care of Rehoboth yesterday, beating them by a score of 4 to 0. However, it all comes down to today. The team travels to Swansea to find out who will be this year's league champs!
Meetings and clubs today: There is a newspaper club meeting today in room 111 until 3:00. There will be a 7th & 8th grade robotics meeting today until 3:20. Chess club meets today in room 214 until 3:15. The interest meeting for basketball is in room 212 until 2:45 today.
If any student is interested in playing basketball this year, there is an interest meeting on Wednesday, 10/26 after school in room 212. Please have a ride ready at 2:45. If you can't make the meeting, please reach out to Ms. Holmes for any information.
Decades day is here! We are swinging, sailing and grooving into our favorite decades. Tomorrow is Dress Like Your Favorite Staff Member Day. This could be your favorite secretary, teacher, custodian, paraprofessional or another member of staff! Let's see how many double we can see in the halls tomorrow!

Our first day of spirit week is here! Students and staff are representing their favorite sports teams for our Sports Day! Tomorrow is Decade Day. Sixth grade, you will be swinging into the 60's. Seventh grade, you will be sailing into the 70's. Eighth grade, you'll be grooving into the 80's. Let's see which grade shows the most spirit for their decade!
The Apponequet swim program has been approved by the MIAA for 7th and 8th grade students to participate with the high school swim team. Practice starts on Monday, November 28th. All practices are directly after school at the GRAIS pool. Any student with interest should contact Athletic Director, Mr. Cabucio, jcabucio@freelake.org.

The FLMS soccer team won an absolute nail biter on Friday afternoon against Berkley Middle School with a score or 2 to 1. The team's last home game is tomorrow right here at FLMS. However, all eyes are set on Wednesday's game versus Swansea. The winner of Wednesday's game will be this year's champions! If you can somehow get a ride to Swansea Middle School on Wednesday afternoon, do it! You won't want to miss it!

Grade 6 is the 60's, grade 7 is the 70's and grade 8 is the 80's. Wednesday is dress like your favorite staff member day. Thursday is country versus country club, and Friday is team color day. The FLMS soccer team traveled to Raynham yesterday and beat them by a score of 3 to 1. Another great team effort from everyone. The team has a home game today after school versus Berkley Middle School.
The newspaper club will meet next Wednesday until 3:00. Any student interested in joining is welcome to attend!
