This year's Giving Tree begins this week. The Giving Tree supports the families at the Conway House in Middleboro. Pick up a star in the library to participate. Once you've gotten a star, the attached QR code will direct you and your family to sign up to donate a toy or household item. We will be collecting items until December 21st.

Can you solve the Rubik's Cube? Have you ever wanted to learn? The first meeting of the Cube Club will be Wednesday, December 6th in room 304, after school. Please make sure to have a ride ready for 3;00 PM.

The girls basketball team kicked off their season yesterday with a big win over Dighton. With a great start to the season, the team looks to take on Berkley next Wednesday at home.

Next week, we begin our Kindness Spirit Week to celebrate National Kindness Day. On Monday, you will receive your challenge information during Advisory. Complete the challenge to be a Champion of Kindness!

On Wednesday, November 8th, there will be an open gym for any basketball player who is looking to practice a little before tryouts. Open gym will end at 4:00 so please have a ride ready for that time.

The boys and girls soccer teams played their last game of the season yesterday against Berkley. Congratulations on an extremely successful season. Best of luck to all the 8th graders who will continue their soccer careers in high school!

The 8th grade boys and girls soccer players joined forces yesterday afternoon as they took on a co-ed Dighton team and won 4 to 0. Both the boys and the girls have their final match of the season after school today versus Berkley Middle School.

The soccer game scheduled to be at Dighton this afternoon has changed location. The game will now be held at home.

The boys and girls cross country teams came in third in the final meet of the season. A big shout out to Max Rosa for winning the JV meet! He beat out 103 other students!

Today's soccer game at Dighton Middle School has been postponed to Wednesday, November 1st.

For Halloween, we have something special for you! Halloween Hat Day! Just for tomorrow, when ghouls and goblins are abound, donate $1 for charity to wear a hat and disguise yourself from the devil's hounds! Bring your $1 to Srta. Hoffer to receive your hat token. The boys soccer team had a second look at first place, undefeated Seekonk yesterday and really came together to beat them by a score of 2 to 1! This was their best game of the season!

The boys and girls cross country teams had great races against Seekonk yesterday with many runners having their personal best times!

The boys soccer team defeated Rehoboth yesterday by a score of 3-0. The team played their best game all season! The girls team lost their first match of the season. Although the team lost, we still had some outstanding performances. Both teams will play this afternoon at home against Seekonk. Good luck!

The 9th annual El Dia de los Muertos Dance is Thursday, November 9th from 6-8PM. The event is open to all grades but tickets are limited, so drop by to get a permission slip in room 202 or the main office. Tickets are $7.00 and will not be sold at the door.

There will be a basketball interest meeting on Wednesday, October 25th right after school in room 117. This meeting is for anyone interested in both the girls and boys teams. The meeting will go until 2:45 PM.
