Homecoming this year is at the Venus De Milo in Swansea, on November 15th. Tickets
are 50 dollars each, and will start going on sale next week in the cafeteria right after
school! Ticket sales start on September 26th for Seniors, September 27th for Seniors
and Juniors, September 30th for Seniors, Juniors, and Sophomores and October 1st for
all grades, and the morning of October 3rd for all grades.

Auditions for the Fall Play, The Crucible, will be today after school in the auditorium.
Anyone interested is welcome to audition, no experience or preparation needed. If you
are interested in stage crew, you do not need to attend auditions. We will have a

Student Council elections will be held next week for any freshmen interested in joining
their class government. If you are interested, there will be an email and a link in your
Laker Locker with a form to fill out and additional info. If you have any questions email
Mr. Solomon or stop by room 142.
The first meeting of the “All Booked at Apponequet” club will be Tuesday, September
10th at 2:15. Members are encouraged to bring their favorite book from the summer or
their selection from June. Selections for October will also be discussed. New members
are welcome to attend. For more information, please see Mrs. O’Brien in the library.
Mrs. O’Brien is looking for students who are interested in working in the library for
academic credit. Application materials for the Library Media Specialist Student
Internship Program for Semester 1 are available in the library. Deadline for applying is
2:00 pm on Friday, September 20th.
