What is a SEPAC?
A SEPAC is a Special Education Parent Advisory Council. Every public school district in Massachusetts is required to establish a SEPAC. Massachusetts state law assigns both an advisory and a participatory function to SEPACs. Membership is offered to all parents of children with disabilities and other interested parties.
Is your child struggling academically, emotionally, or behaviorally? Do you have a child that has a diagnosis and eligible for an IEP or 504? Do you have questions about resources or how to help your child progress? If you are looking for support, SEPAC is here to help!
What we do:
•We help advise the district and parents/guardians on special education topics.
•We provide workshops, presentations, activities.
•We are here for all parents/guardians for support and advice.
•We promote and support Unified programs and inclusive activities.
Please reach out if you or your child is struggling and looking for support!
