Dear Intermediate School Families,

As I shared last Wednesday, we had a great time during our 13th annual turkey trot leading into the break.  I was most proud at how well the children did cheering on each other and celebrating the winners.  We are working together to ensure all children experience a sense of belonging at GRAIS, and the boys and girls really rose to the occasion on the 23rd!

December Conferences with Teachers:

Our scheduled conferences are this coming week.  If you are not able to attend, but would like to meet with your child’s teachers, please contact the team or me for a future time slot. We are happy to arrange a time during the school day for you.

Holiday Concert:

Our talented chorus performed for a big audience Thursday night at Apponequet.  The boys and girls have been practicing for weeks, and we are very proud of them for sharing their wonderful voices with us!  A tremendous amount of gratitude goes to Mr. Alex Duff, our remarkable music teacher who manages every aspect of the chorus program.  In the spring, we get to see the result of all the hard work being done by the children in the band when they join the chorus for a performance scheduled for May 18th.

Parent Portal:

First trimester report cards will be posted to the parent portal tomorrow by the end of the school day.  Questions regarding final grades should be directed to the teacher who assigned them.

PTO:

The PTO hopes everyone had a great Thanksgiving!  Thanks again to everyone who volunteered to make the turkey trot this event successful!  The students and staff had a blast!  Our next event will be the FUN RUN, which will  take place in February.  Stay tuned for more information.

Spiritwear is officially on sale!  All orders will be shipped directly to your home.  Go to the GRAIS PTO Facebook page to click directly on the link or type in this website to order.
