Dear Intermediate School Families,
Thank you for your continued support of GRAIS. Between the huge number of hard-working volunteers to the tremendous amount of boxes of tissues and snacks donated, we couldn’t be more grateful for your help in making last week’s social a hit. Additionally, in whatever manner your family supported the fun run, whether financially or through encouragement, we thank you! Over $32,000 was raised!
Health Screenings:
Student health screenings will be ongoing after the Thanksgiving break. If you wish to opt your child out, please send in a signed note/letter to the nurse stating what you are opting out of by November 1st.

Hydration Stations:
We are so fortunate to have three hydration stations in our building, which are available to the students and staff. Thank you for reminding your child to have his/her reusable water bottle every day.
Nature’s Classroom:
As a reminder and for clarification, the one-time informational session about the optional grade four overnight field trip to Nature’s Classroom is at 6 p.m. on November 14th in our cafeteria and is for adults only. There will be a Q&A period following the presentation. All the deadlines for forms and payments will be reviewed. Mrs. Snyder (snyder@freelake.org) is the program coordinator. Visiting Nature’s Classroom is a very long-standing GRAIS tradition, with approximately half of the fourth grade class opting to attend, typically.
