Dear GRAIS Families,

Our students have now completed their state testing in ELA and math.  The fifth graders will participate in the state’s science assessment tomorrow and Tuesday, wrapping up MCAS season this year!  They have made themselves, all of you, their teachers, and me so proud.

Thank you, grade five families for having your children arrive at school on time on tomorrow and Tuesday with their fully charged school-issued device in its case with its charge.  We have continued to encouraged the boys and girls to get a good night’s sleep before each test day, have a healthy breakfast (grab-and-go-breakfast items will still be available here), bring in a healthy snack, a book, a bottle of water, a positive attitude, and a desire to do his or her very best work.

Art and Music Show:

The GRAIS Art and Music Night is finally here!  The event this Thursday evening is a chance for students to showcase their talents to family and friends. Students will have their best artwork from this year on display in the hallways at FLMS.  You are welcome to come to view the artwork anytime  between 6 - 8 pm.  Students who participate in chorus and band will perform in the beautiful FLMS auditorium.  Band will begin performing at 6:30, and the chorus will perform at 7:30. We thank the administration and facilities staff at Freetown-Lakeville Middle School for allowing us to utilize their space for the evening. We’re looking forward to seeing you and appreciate your support of the arts at GRAIS!
