Important Updates

  • STEM Week:  FLMS has been celebrating Massachusetts STEM Week this week.  Our 7th and 8th grade students have been working hard as they apply the skills they have learned to design Next Generation Zoo Enclosures.  We are looking forward to seeing their innovative ideas and we are expecting some local zoo representatives to visit us next week.  Great job students!

  •  Spirit Week: FLMS will be celebrating our Fall Spirit Week next week.  Students are encouraged to show their spirit by dressing up according to the following themes.

    • Monday - Sports Day

    • Tuesday - Decades Day

    • Wednesday - Dress like your favorite staff member

    • Thursday - Country vs. Country Club

    • Friday - Team Color Day

      • 6100 - Orange

      • 6200 - Purple

      • 7100 - Red

      • 7200 - Blue

      • 8100 - Black

      • 8200 - White

 School Club Update

  • Oye! Oye! Chicos y chicas!  The 8th Annual “El Dia de los Muertos” Dance is on October 28th from 6-8 in the cafeteria.  The event is open to all grades but tickets are limited.  Pick up a permission slip in Room 202 and tickets are $7.00  Tickets must be bought in advance and will not be sold at the door.

  •  Attention all singers, actors and dancers! It's that time of year again.  The FLMS Drama Club is getting ready for this year’s production of Annie Jr.  Auditions and callbacks are November 2nd and 3rd from 2:15 - 4:00 PM in the auditorium

School Sports Update

  • FLMS Basketball: For anyone interested in playing for the FLMS basketball teams this winter, please note the following important dates:

    • Interest Meeting (Boys & Girls 10/26)

    • Girls Tryouts 11/7 & 11/8

    • Boys Tryouts 11/9 and 11/10

  • The FLMS Co-Ed Soccer Team continued its winning ways, improving their record to 10-0 with a convincing win over Seekonk on Tuesday.  With only a few games left in the season, a conference championship is in their sights.  Good Luck!

  • The Boys and Girls Cross Country teams both topped strong Middleboro squads.  The girls team is undefeated and the boys only have one loss on the season.  Keep up the great work!
