School Club Update

  • The FLMS Newspaper Club will be holding its first meeting on Wednesday, October 12th in Room 111 from 2:05 to 3:00. Anyone who is interested in joining is invited to attend.  The Newspaper Club meets 1-2 times per month and creates 3 issues of the Freelake Ledger, a digital newspaper, each school year.

  • The Freetown-Lakeville Extended Programs is offering After the Bell. This Program offers clubs and activities for one hour, one day per week, afterschool that is designed to provide exciting, fun, and enriching experiences for the students taught by talented teachers and professionals. We will be offering classes at both elementary schools, intermediate school and middle school. The sessions will run in 6 week intervals. Each session, new classes and clubs will be offered expanding and changing the list of choices. Please contact Lisa Pacheco, lpacheco@freelake.org, with questions.

School Sports Update

  • Congratulations to the FLMS Co-Ed Soccer Team for extending their unbeaten streak to 3.  They bested Somerset Middle School this week with a score of 7-1.  Keep it up soccer players!

  • The Boys and Girls Cross Country teams both extended their winning ways with victories over Norton Middle School.  It was a great team effort!  They look to keep theri undefeated seasons alive next Wednesday with a home meet against Somerset Middle School.

Student Agenda Site Reminder: In an effort to facilitate communication between parents and teachers, we have created a digital agenda site for student assignments.  Parents, you will be able to keep track of the work that your student is expected to complete on a daily basis.  Assignments are updated daily by the teachers and you will also be able to access assignments from past weeks in the archived section.  The link is: Student Agenda Site
