School Updates

  • Kindness Week - The FLMS Student Council and the Freelake Lakers celebrated National Kindness Day, November 13th, by hosting a Kindness Challenge.  To demonstrate ways we can be kind to each other, the Kindness Challenge had students and staff complete various kindness tasks throughout the week.  Any student who completed all five challenges by Friday, November 17th, became a Kindness Champion and received a Badge of Kindness honor.

  • 7th Grade Field Trip - The 7th graders were able to attend the Rhode Island School of Design Art Museum this week and see first hand beautiful works of art by artists such as Chihuly, Picasso, Monet and Dega. Also, they saw historical artifacts from Egypt, Asia, Rome and Greece. Some of the favorites were the Egyptian mummy, a Budha , the Chihuly glass sculpture, and the Grand Gallery with the enormous portraits.

  • The FLMS Student Council- For the third year, the FLMS Student Council will be running a giving tree fundraiser for the Conway House in Middleboro. Please click on the link below to review the needed items and to sign up to donate.  We will begin accepting donations the Monday after Thanksgiving and continue through Wednesday, December 20th, 2023.  FLMS Giving Tree Fundraiser
