It’s Prom Night! Juniors, Seniors, and their guests will be dressed in finery and on to the Century House in Acushnet, MA. Information for prom attendees and families was shared last week. We are committed to a safe and joyous prom! Prom letter parents 2023

We commend our Class of 2025 students for their diligence in the MCAS Math exam and thank our Math teachers for preparing them so well!

Congratulations to our many Science Award winners in the many offerings of Science at ARHS. 

We also congratulate our Class of 2023 National Honor Society Scholars who were awarded their gold cords for graduation and a special congratulations to Liz Ashley, Riley Bettes, Jocelyn Carvalho, and Lucas Quinn for special recognition to represent the four pillars of NHS. 

Working in small teams, students take on the role of Crime Scene Investigators. In this culminating assessment, they are given minimal instruction and must determine how best to employ the techniques learned in class. These include how to process a crime scene, fingerprint analysis, cipher decryption and calculation of post-mortem interval using insect activity and stages of decay.

The “Booked at Apponequet” club has chosen the selections for the May book read. Members can opt between the following choices: “A Good Girl's Guide to Murder” by Holly Jackson; “Truly Devious” by Maureen Johnson; “That’s Not What Happened” by Kody Keplinger; and “The Guest List” by Lucy Foley. The club will meet to discuss their selection on Tuesday, May 30th at 2:15 pm. All new members are welcome to join. Reminder of Driving Instructions for Parents/Guardians 

Drop Off - The school opens at 7:00 am and students are supervised in the Lecture Hall until the bell rings at 7:30 am. 

Please note that both entrances are open for drop off this year. Vehicles must exit by the same side as they entered and are cautioned to drive carefully as our student drivers enter the building from the parking lot.  Please contact the Main Office or SRO Bartholomew with any questions. 

Pick Up - We continue to ask parents and guardians to park when arriving for pick up to ensure that cars do not block the bus lanes and Howland Road. If you have any questions about this process, please contact the Main Office or SRO Bartholomew.
