We’ve finished our 366 AP exams and students are relieved and proud. Our next challenge is for grade 10 with their Math MCAS on May 16 and 17. We have honed our Math skills and now students need to get a good night of sleep, a good breakfast, and charge their Chromebooks! We wish the best to to grade 10.

Engineering students took on a great challenge in the First Apponequet Cup, designed by Mr. Salmond. It was tense as students built their boats, secured sponsors, won points to upgrade their engineering, and finally as they raced. A big upset led to the fall of Cotton Candy Crisis. Placing 1st was Redline, 2nd Not-So-Soft-Sophomores, and at 3rd, ACER. Congratulations to all who competed!

It was Teacher Appreciation Week and we thank our educators for their tireless efforts and unflagging patience. They make Laker Nation a place of belonging for all. Thank you to Laker families for providing a delicious lunch to our teachers on Friday!

Friday, May 19 will be the Junior-Senior Prom at The Century House in Acushnet. A letter was sent home to families with prom attendees. Prom letter parents 2023
