On Saturday, March 24, the ARHS Jazz Ensemble performed at the national convention of the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, a professional organization of school administrators. The convention took place at the Boston Convention and Exposition Center; the ARHS Jazz Ensemble played a 40 minute set just before Saturday’s keynote speaker, Dr. Jill Biden. Thank you to Mr. Ledwith and to our musicians for well representing our school.
ARHS visual arts students enrolled in Art 2, Art, 3, AP Studio Art and Mixed Media participated in a field trip to the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston on Friday March 23. The trip was partially funded by the Lakeville Arts Council and was met with great enthusiasm by our students. Fifty four students were able to engage in this event to view the museum’s permanent collection as well as special exhibits of the works of Takashi Murakami and M.C. Escher. Thank you to the Lakeville Arts Council for their support of our students.
