Greetings Laker Nation,

Congratulations to the Students & Staff of ARHS for being 1 of only 7 schools recognized for its outstanding performance on MCAS exams over the past 4 years .  Your commitment to Achievement, Resilience, Honor & Self-Advocacy, demonstrated in this accomplishment is excellent.  Thank you to our parents/guardians who support our students and staff thus making such accomplishments possible.  Please take a moment to view some local coverage of this tremendous distinction:

On behalf of the Apponequet Regional High School Students and Staff, we bid a fond "au revoir” to the 24 French students and their 2 teachers who have been with us since October 10th.  I thank them for allowing us to be their hosts, engaging with us in our  academic, social and athletic endeavors and for enriching our understanding of their culture.  I thank our students, our staff, Mrs. Hartley and Mr. Rutledge for all of the fine hospitality and for making their visit a meaningful experience.

Way to go Mr. Glen!  ARHS’s Earth and Weather Science teacher will be presenting at the MA Science Teachers Conference.  His “science talk” about using “Google Maps in the Classroom” will surely be a hit.

Also a hearty congratulations to Mrs. Julie Mills!  Our very own Science CL has been accepted, for the second year in a row,  to present at the National Science Teachers Association Conference in Atlanta, GA this March!  Mrs. Mills's presentation will be about the use of Engineering Notebooks in the classroom.
