Important Updates

  • Attention 6th Graders!  If you are interested in learning how to build and code robots, then you may want to join the FLMS 6th Grade Robotics Club.  The club has 10 available spots for interested students. See Mr. Friedrichs in Rm 211 for an application.

  • Attention 7th and 8th grade students!  Applications for PCC are now available in the Guidance Office.  PCC is a 6 week residential summer program at Stonehill College that provides an intellectually enriching, friendly, supportive and rigorous learning environment for students interested in exploring advanced courses in a variety of fields.  Applications are due by February 28th.

  • Student Government met on Tuesday afternoon.  Students focused on moving ahead with plans to install hydration stations at the middle school.  The students have already done some fundraising for this project and have started the process of finding available grant money to fund a portion of the project. Students will be assisting in applying for these grants.

  • The FLMS Yearbook is looking for volunteers.  If you like taking pictures, making posters or if you just want to get involved, please see Mr. Boissonneau in room 314 about signing up.

  • MATH AT THE MALL - The 6th grade class will be taking their annual field trip to the mall to apply some of the skills they have learned in math class to the real world. Students will be in small groups to solve some problems pertaining to measurement, prices, percentages, and more. Permission slips went home with students this week and are due back to their homeroom teacher as soon as possible. We are looking for many chaperones so please consider joining us if you are able to.

  • CUBE TEAM - The New England Rubik’s Cube Tournament is less than 2 weeks away! On Saturday, January 25th, 8 of our fastest cubers will travel to Concord, MA to represent FLMS in this year’s tournament. Good luck, boys!
