We will continue to use the One-Call Communication System to provide families with the necessary school cancellation and delay information. In addition to One-Call, we will utilize the school website and all local media outlets to communicate information in a timely manner for our families in Freetown and Lakeville. Please keep in mind that my decision will be based on multiple reliable sources and will focus on the safety for all children and adults.
We are pleased to announce that we continue to strengthen our relationship with the senior citizens in both Freetown and Lakeville. This past week we hosted our second senior breakfast event at Assawompset Elementary School with over 20 adults in attendance. These events continue to be a huge success and we look forward to our continued partnership with the Council on Aging in both communities.
Our next school committee meeting will be Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 6:30 p.m. in the ARHS Library. There will be no school tomorrow, Friday, November 10, 2017 in honor of Veteran’s Day. Please enjoy the long holiday weekend. We have already completed 46 school days or ¼ of this school year. I look forward to our continued drive toward excellence as we raise the bar for all our students. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to call at 508-923-2000 ext. 1703 or e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
