We are excited to announce that we continue to strengthen our relationship with the senior citizens in both Freetown and Lakeville. The school district will host two senior breakfast events this fall at Freetown Elementary School on October 19, 2016 and at Assawompset Elementary School on October 26, 2016. Last year these events were a huge success and we look forward to our continued partnership with the Council on Aging in both communities.
The school district is looking for interested community members that are registered nurses for substitute duty coverage in our schools. The district remains committed to the safety and well-being of our children and this would fill a critical need this coming school year. Please contact Paula Mueller at email@example.com or call at 508-947-2660 ex.1157, if you are interested.
We have multiple open house activities this week to provide important information to our students and families. Please try to take advantage of the many opportunities to attend school events and stay involved in your child’s education this year. The regional finance sub-committee will hold their first meeting of the 2016-17 school year on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at 6:30 p.m. in the ARHS library. Our next school committee meeting will be Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at Apponequet Regional High School beginning at 6:30 p.m. I appreciate your support for all our schools and I look forward to our continued drive toward excellence. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to call at 508-923-2000 ext. 1703 or e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
