Greetings Laker Nation,

Quarter 2 grades will be posted via the PlusPortal tonight at 6:00 pm.

Mr. Marshall’s Environmental Science classes sponsored an "Opt-Out" of meat/animal products day.  There were thirty-three (33) students and twenty-one (21) staff members who successfully “Opted Out”.  Students calculated that this one day movement resulted in a savings of 458 pounds of carbon dioxide from entering the atmosphere, 33 pounds of meat and 59,000 gallons of water.

Students in Mr. Rosa’s classes toured the Amazon fulfillment center in Freetown/Fall River this past week. While on tour, students learned about the company, the facility, the employment opportunities and much more. Special thanks to LaToya Wright, Ashlee Partlow and George Wall who welcomed us, arranged the tour and guided us through the facility.

Congratulations to Ericka Correia, Class of 2022. Ericka was crowned the first ever Miss Freetown Outstanding Teen. She also won the talent and scholastic awards.  Ericka’s platform is “Next Stop, Broadway! Building Confidence and Dreams Through the Performing Arts.”
