The Freetown-Lakeville Regional School Community would like to thank Carolyn R.Gomes for her hard work over the last 16 years for our children in Freetown and Lakeville. Carolyn will be stepping down as chair of the school committee to pursue a wonderful new career opportunity. We are so grateful to her for all of her hard work and efforts over this lengthy time to make our school district a better place for all children. Her leadership throughout the years has provided and led to so many successes for all of our schools. Her Lakeville school committee seat is vacant and must be filled my December 1, 2018. If you are interested please submit a letter of intent to the Superintendent’s Office by November 15th.

As the cold weather season begins, the school district will continue to use the One-Call Communication System to provide families with the necessary school cancellation or delay information. As we move toward the end of the first term, the school district is once again using a web-based program, Parents Plus Portals, where parents will be able to access information about their child’s educational progress and grades. Parents of students in grades 4-12 will have access to the portal. Please take advantage of this wonderful communication tool for your children. Parents or students with questions on accessing their Portal accounts may email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Our next regularly scheduled school committee meeting for the 2018-19 school year will be Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. in the ARHS Library. I look forward to our continued drive toward excellence, as we raise the bar for all students. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to call 508-923-2000 ext. 1703 or email me at email@example.com.
