Congratulations Class of 2021 from ARHS !
The Freetown-Lakeville School Community has already completed (162) school days in this academic year. Our last school day remains, Wednesday, June 16, 2021 and is an early dismissal day. As our schools prepare for the closing 8 school days, we are adjusting our COVID safety procedures and protocols for indoor and outdoor activities to meet recently released state guidance.
The FLRSD website will continue to provide COVID information on our District Dashboard and also provides weekly town covid information from the state and DESE regarding COVID cases for all schools in the Commonwealth for the remainder of this school calendar. We continue to see declining positivity rates in both communities as we head into the summer season.
The FLRSD dashboard reported only two (2) new positive COVID cases this past week impacting our school district community. Our 2020-21 motto of “Respect, Patience, and Flexibility” combined with our district theme of “Raise the Bar'' continues to drive our decision making and mirrors recent state adjustments. The school district will continue to use the One-Call Communication System to provide families with necessary safety updates.
Our last school committee meeting for the 2020-21 school year will be Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at 6:30 p.m. in the ARHS Library. We will honor the retirees and our agenda will be available on our website under Announcements. Please enjoy your graduation weekend.
