Raise the Bar

On behalf of the entire Freetown-Lakeville Regional School District, we would like to thank you for all of your support during this past school year. Please be sure to take some time during the summer break to relax with family and friends. The FLRSD schools have already completed 175 school days in this academic year. With only 5 school days left, our last day of school for the 2021-22 school year is Monday, June 27, 2022, and is an early dismissal day. Please continue to check our school events calendars for many exciting end of year activities during the final  week.

The FLRSD reported only 7 positive cases this past week; our school community has now reported 1,159 cases on the COVID District Dashboard for the 2021-22 school year. The district continues to include school numbers, weekly town COVID information from the State, and updates from the DESE regarding COVID cases in the Commonwealth on our website. We will continue to provide test kits during our summer programming.

We thank you for your support of the The FLRSD FY ’23 School Budget of $43,340,701 which represents a 3.62% increase over the FY ’22 regional budget. The budget continues to be  posted on our website for your review. We will continue to use the One-Call Communication System to provide families with necessary safety updates and school cancellation or delay information through the remainder of this school year.

The last Regional School Committee meeting of the 2021-22 school year will be Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at 6:30 p.m. in the high school library. Please enjoy the upcoming holiday weekend! If you have any questions please do not hesitate to call 508-923-2000 extension 1703 or email me at rmedeiros@freelake.org.
