Thank you to all the staff for their hard work and dedication as we continue to celebrate our talented music students. Please look under Announcements for "Music Fest 2019."

We need your support more than ever as we look to provide appropriate resources to meet our growing educational needs. I will keep all stakeholders updated throughout the budget season on upcoming meetings and events. The Freetown-Lakeville Regional School District is in need of a new strategic plan. This plan outlines our collective vision, core values, and goals for students, staff and families. In her role as the Director of Curriculum and Assessment, Dr. Marlene Correia is facilitating the process and seeking your valuable input. We invite you to complete the Family Strategic Planning Survey to share your thoughts on what we do best and what we can do better.
The school district will continue to use the One-Call Communication System to provide families with the necessary school cancellation or delay information. This past week, we utilized the system for a planned early dismissal, families are asked to keep in mind that buses may run later on these days, so please plan accordingly. School decisions will be based on multiple reliable sources. The safety of our students and staff remains my top priority.
Please be reminded that our next school committee meeting will be March 6, 2019 in the ARHS Library at 6:30 p.m. Topics will include the budget, the 2019-20 school calendar, and school choice. I look forward to our continued drive toward excellence. Please enjoy the upcoming winter vacation break!
