Governor Baker announced this week all schools in the Commonwealth will be closed for the remainder of the school year out of an abundance of caution for the safety of all stakeholders. This includes all on-site school related activities and events in our district. The updated school calendar is now posted on our website, reflecting our remote learning plan for the remainder of this school year. This will include enhanced guidance from the state regarding instruction. As of today, we do not have plans for Kids Cafe Summer Programming on the campus. The district is beginning the process of establishing a plan for staff and students to return to the schools to retrieve personal belongings. I will continue to provide families with district information in addition to school-level updates from school principals and individual classroom teachers.

The Freetown-Lakeville Regional School District School Committee voted on an updated School District Calendar reflecting our current plan moving forward for the remainder of this school year. Under "Announcements" is a letter from the Director of Curriculum and Instruction, Dr. Patricia Gablinske, along with a full list of remote learning activities for the vacation week. I will continue to keep my messages short as I know families are receiving information from the district, school principals, and individual classroom teachers. Please be sure to balance school work with the number one priority of safety and health for everyone in your family.
