VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

The PTO needs YOU to step up and volunteer.
The hours aren't bad and the pay is nothing, but the intrinsic benefits are GREAT! Our Apponequet students and staff are just as important as the elementary and middle school; and it is very rewarding to work with them! If you have volunteered at the other schools, then you'll find helping out at the high school level EASY! We are looking for bakers, we need help in the nurse's office (twice a year only!), help in the Main and Guidance Offices (copies), and assistance in the library due to budget cuts.

Meetings are held every other month on the 3rd Monday. Watch for updates on the PTO on the back of the Report Cards.

RACHEL'S CHALLENGE

The PTO is very excited about the Freetown-Lakeville Regional School District's ability to bring this very important program to our students!
On March 6, 2008, this program was presented to select grades at Apponequet and Freetown-Lakeville Middle School. Apponequet administration and students, as well as the PTO, want to keep this program alive and thriving, recognizing the message needs to be part of everyone's daily lives. The PTO is looking for volunteers who can work with the students and faculty as needed throughout the school year. Please contact Pam Dziura at 508-946-5407 or bpdziura@verizon.net if interested.
