Special Education services are education services that are specially designed to meet the unique needs of a student with a disability. A student is eligible for special education services when the student is identified to have 1 or more disabilities, the student is not making effective progress in school as a result of the disabilit(ies) and the student requires specially designed instruction and/or related services in order to make effective progress. Through the evaluation and TEAM process a student may be determined eligible for special education or general education support services.

A continuum of special education services are provided throughout the district. For further information please contact your child's school or the Director of Special Education.
