Parents Advisory Council

WHAT IS PAC?

Parent Advisory Councils are a requirement of the current Massachusetts Special Education Regulations. We are a district-wide organization of parents, teachers, and administrators. We work in partnership to promote an innovative educational environment, where children with disabilities have equal access to educational opportunities in schools that are safe, nurturing and challenging for ALL children.

This organization provides access to relevant resources, laws, regulations and activities that impact Special Education in this community and across the state.

WHEN ARE THE MEETINGS?

The Freetown-Lakeville SPED PAC hosts meetings and workshops with school and community. Meetings are held on a monthly basis at the Special Education Office from 6:30 - 7:30.
