I graduated from SMU with a degree in Psychology. However, before doing so, I began substituting at the Middle School and found I loved teaching. I continued my education to become certified, earned my Master's Degree and, well, here I am still loving it after more than 22 years!

I have a 19 year old daughter, Lauren, who is a sophomore at Northeastern University.

I love hiking, yard work, and reading murder mysteries (when I'm not home alone)! We have a new addition to our family- a beagle named Riley! Without a doubt, she tires me out faster than my 100 students ever could!
