I have taught at the George R. Austin Middle School and the Freetown-Lakeville Middle School since 1975. With the exception of 2 years in 8th grade, all with the 7100 team. The most important thing for students to learn at this level is to think at a more abstract level. These thought processes will help them later when taking more advanced high school math courses.
