Nesting

 

These are several different types of bird nests.

One type of nest is called a grass lined cup. It looks like this:

Another type of bird nest is a hanging nest. It looks like this:

The last nest is very different from the other types of nests. It's called a tree trunk nest and it looks like this:

All these nests are very neat looking. The way birds make nests is also interesting. The birds collect sticks, as you would for a campfire, and put them together. Birds are smarter than you may think. When someone is going after their young, or even just coming too near the nest, some birds attack and wreck their nests and move. Then they start building all over again.
