Extra-Curricular Activities

Computer Club

Our Computer Club meets on Thursday afternoons from 2:25 to 3:30 p.m. The club is open to all Middle School students who are able to arrange transportation home. In order to accommodate the maximum number of students, membership is kept open-ended. Students wishing to participate must sign up each week on a first come-first served basis. Participants enjoy using simulation programs and other educational computer games. Drawing, painting, and writing software is also regularly used. Students are able to choose their own activities and have sufficient time to experiment and explore the computer's potential. This individual and group experience is a valuable supplement to the computer science curriculum for those students who have a particular interest in, or aptitude for computer science.

Computer Mini-Camp

A Computer Mini-Camp is scheduled each July. Participants engage in computer-related activities which are both fun and educational.
