Peer Leaders Program |
Student Clubs |
Peer Leaders are a group of 6th, 7th and 8th graders who aim to be positive role models for our school. They participate in many leadership activities throughout the school year.
Peer Leaders deliver welcome bags and work as student ambassadors for new students and are in charge of our school wide paper recycling effort.
Peer Leaders sponsor Red Ribbon Week, which is an effort to keep kids away from alcohol, drugs and tobacco. Red Ribbon Week concludes with an after school bombardment tournament and movie. $300 was raised this year for cancer research.
Peer Leaders collect food for local food pantries. They initiated a T-shirt contest to promote school spirit. They run the school store. A few are also acting as peer tutors.
Peer Leaders sponsor B-ball for Hearts and other after school activities, coordinate Daffodil Days, and complete 15 hours of community service.
Their final activity is a well deserved trip to Canobie Lake Park.
