GEORGE R. AUSTIN INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL P.T.O.
2007 – 2008 School Year
2007 – 2008 School Year
Please be reminded that our final PTO sponsored event for this school year will be Field Day, to be held June 10, with a rain date of June 13. Lia Fabian and Lisa King will be chairing this event. Information has gone out if you are interested in volunteering. We are still in need of volunteers, particularly 5th grade parents. CORI checks are mandatory for anyone wishing to volunteer, in any capacity in the school. All CORIS should be filled out at this time.
Believe it or not, we are coming to the end of another school year! The GRAIS PTO would like to take this time to thank all the volunteers throughout the school year for their support—from chairing events, to chaperoning, to baking, counting and/or distributing fundraiser items…the list goes on and on! Any school’s PTO is only as successful as the parents’ and teachers’ involvement.
We have had quite a lot of success with the collection of Box Tops and “Sox” Tops. Keep them coming….it earns money for items the students use on a daily basis!
Also, remember to check our PTO WISH LIST to donate any items the staff at GRAIS may need in the coming months. Thanks for your support!
If you would like more information or would like to get involved, you may contact the PTO at GRAIS-PTO@freelake.org.
We are still looking for a co-chair for the 2008-2009 school year. This is a 2-year position, and a great way to stay involved in your children’s education!
