Lunch Card Program
As in years past, the food service provides a meal card which consists of 10 healthy lunches. The price is $2.25 per lunch or $22.50 per card. The purchase of the card ensures a balanced lunch at a reasonable price. The following are examples of what may be purchased with the lunch card: The main meal of the day which may include potato, vegetable, a roll, fruit and milk or juice. On occasion, pasta with sauce or meatballs as a second meal is available. Other choices are pizza, chicken burger, cheeseburger, a bowl of chili with salad, fruit and milk or juice. Cold sandwiches that may be purchased with the lunch card include ham and cheese, sliced turkey, tuna salad, and bologna and cheese. These include salad, fruit and milk or juice. The lunch card may not be used for snacks, chips, cookies, ice cream, or drinks other than milk or juice.
Checks should be made payable to Freetown-Lakeville Regional School District, and should have your child's name and homeroom number in the memo area.
